Terms of Subscription
The Scenic Letter is a weekly email written and published by SandovalPOV. These terms cover your subscription. By subscribing, you agree to them.
What you get
One email letter, sent most Sundays, for as long as your subscription is active. The letter is a personal publication — its schedule and subject matter are at the author’s discretion, and an occasional missed or rescheduled week is not a breach of these terms.
Payment and renewal
- The subscription costs $5 USD per month.
- It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Manage membership. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. Payments already made are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Your mile marker
Your mile marker — the number assigned when you joined — is a permanent keepsake tied to your subscription. It is not transferable and carries no monetary value.
Acceptable use
The letter is for you. Please do not republish it, resell it, or forward it in bulk. You are welcome to quote a passage with attribution.
Ending a subscription from our side
We may cancel and refund the current period if a subscription is used abusively or fraudulently.
Liability
The letter is offered as-is, as personal reflection and commentary. It is not professional, financial, medical, or legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous twelve months.
Changes
If these terms change materially, subscribers will be told by email before the change takes effect.
