Privacy Policy
The Scenic Letter collects as little as it can get away with. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no cookie banner, and no third-party trackers on this site.
What we store
- Your first name and email address, so the letter can arrive and greet you.
- Your subscription status, billing period, and permanent mile marker number.
- Identifiers issued by Stripe (customer and subscription ids) that link your record to your payment method held at Stripe.
What we never store
Card numbers, bank details, and billing credentials. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages; we only ever receive a reference to it.
Who processes your data
- Stripe — payments, billing, and the customer portal.
- Resend — sending the letter and the welcome email.
- Our hosting and database provider — storing the subscriber record.
Your details are never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on the Stripe checkout and portal pages it hosts, under its own policy.
How long we keep it
While you are subscribed, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax and accounting records. You can ask for deletion at any time.
Your choices
- Cancel or update billing from Manage membership.
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link in its footer.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing contactaesandoval@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA.
